Rainier Art Club is a group of artists who paint together in the Tacoma area. Some of the artists have participated in art events and shows in the Puyallup/Tacoma, WA area such as: "Arts in the Park", "Art Battle Tacoma", "Meeker Days", "The Oldfield Art Shows" & other local art shows. The painting group has professional artist members and also welcomes those who are just learning art. RAC Painting Group at The Mid-County Community Center:

After a break for the Holidays, RAC’s painting group resumed in January 2023 at the Mid County Community Center.  All enjoyed the opportunity to get together and catch up.  So much fun to paint together, see what everyone is working on and get inspired.

RAC’s painting group gets together the 4th Monday of each month to work on their individual painting projects. Artists bring their own supplies.  A $2.00 use fee and emergency contact form is required by MCCC (Community Center). “Rainier Art Club” presents “A Few of My Favorite Things” ~ “Holiday Art Show” from October 25, to December 16, 2022 at “Premier Gallery”.   The show features over 30 paintings and miniature artwork.  The award winning artists in this year’s show include:  Ron Snowden, Carlene Salazar, Barbara Waid, Liz McDevitt, JoAnn  Dorsey-Hayden, Anne Doane, Rita Welch,  Chrystine Westphal, Sue Stewart, Diana Mears, Tracy Hansen-Wagner, and Marcy Grindley.

Meet these incredible artists at the reception on Thursday, November 3, 2022,  5pm – 6:30pm.

Premier Gallery is located inside the Puyallup Activity Center, 210 West Pioneer, Puyallup.  Hours:  Mon – Fri 9 to 4 (closed weekends and holidays)

Two Rainier Art Club Artists, Rita Welch and Carlene Salazar will be giving art demonstrations during the in "Arts in the Park" event on Saturday, June 18th, 2022, 10am - 6pm, at Pioneer Park, Puyallup. Rita is an oil painter and Carlene paints in acrylics. 
Be sure to stop by and say, "Hi."  
 Rainier Art Club artist, Paul Langston, pictured below creating a watercolor at "Arts in the Park" a couple of years ago, may also be painting there on Saturday.
